Slay Transportation Co., Inc. is a liquid and dry bulk carrier operating in 48 states, Canada and Mexico. Slay Transportation has over 1600 tractors and trailers and 17 locations.

We have an ultra-modern fleet of 470 tractors and 1200 trailers, consisting of bulk liquid trailers, pneumatic trailers, ISO chassis, van trailers, flatbeds and other specialized trailers.

At Slay Transportation, we recognize the integral importance of our over 400+ drivers, all experienced and highly trained. Our philosophy in recruiting and managing those drivers includes:

Review Motor Vehicle reports
Verify previous employment and complete background check
Administer a physical examination, drug screening and a road test
Provide initial and ongoing training

Slay Terminals

Baytown Terminal - Houston

New in 2016 our Baytown terminal features a state-of-the-art tank cleaning facility. Including the wash racks at our Jacintoport terminal, this new terminal makes a total of nine chemical wash rack bays available in the Houston area. Both wash racks are dedicated to Slay Transportation and its customers.

Four of the bays at the Baytown terminal are configured for cleaning isocyanates, and two of those bays are dedicated to just isocyanates. The other bays handle a variety of general chemical cleaning.

Jacintoport Terminal - Houston

Opened in 1992 along the Houston Ship Channel, services at this location include:

Three-bay tank wash rack
5,000-ft rail siding for transloading
200,000-sq-ft warehouse for drums, bags, and super sacks.
Space for 500 containers

Channelview Terminal - Houston

Located on Sheldon Rd, in Channelview, Texas, this terminal opened in 1997 and is now a dedicated ISO tank container depot. Terminal services include:

150,000-sq-ft warehouse
Maintenance shop that handles repair work on chemical customers’ ISO tank containers.
Space for 600 – 800 containers
